East Texas Wineries

Walkers Mill Vineyard and Winery

One of our favorite East Texas wineries is Walkers Mill Vineyard and Winery.

Not only did we have a great time with owners Art and Adrianna Strahan, but we also loved their gorgeous vineyard and winery.

This family owned boutique winery offers guests an incredible environment to drink wine in.

Guests can enjoy a wine tasting in their fabulous Mill Barn while their new tasting room in under construction.

During your wine tasting, you can try their wide variety of both dry and sweet wines, some of which are produced from the Muscadine grapes grown on their property.

While Muscadine wine can easily be incredibly sweet, Walkers Mill Winery does a great job of producing semi sweet wines with these grapes as well.

Once you have settled on a wine you love, be sure and grab a glass or bottle to enjoy on their outdoor patio that overlooks the vineyard.

Allow the Texas ranch lifestyle to surround you as you relax and drink the local wine produced at Walkers Mill Vineyard and Winery.

I can’t wait to go back to this family owned winery when their onsite accommodations are complete.

During our visit, Walkers Mill was in the process of building four luxurious guest suites!

Enoch’s Stomp Winery and Vineyard

Another of our favorite East Texas wineries, Enoch’s Stomp Winery and Vineyard strives to provide a winery resort style experience to their guests.

Nestled on 90 acres of beautiful Texas countryside in Harleton, Texas, you will find a wonderful East Texas winery that boasts a fabulous wine tasting room, an incredible fine dining restaurant, rolling hills covered with vineyards, and some wonderfully romantic accommodations.

This vineyard winery grows several varietals of grapes, including Black Spanish grapes, Blanc du Bois grapes, Champanel, and Norton.

The grapes grown here are known to thrive in the harsh East Texas conditions and bring wines that have a unique and wonderful flavor.

During our visit to Enoch’s Stomp Vineyard and Winery, we participated in a vineyard tour and learned so much about the wine making process and the hard work involved in creating these excellent handcrafted wines.

Britt’s Wine and Dine

Guests to Britt’s Wine and Dine in Kilgore, Texas, can enjoy Britt’s wine and food pairings that Britt is so lovingly known for.

Owner, Britt Davis has always had a passion for wine. Growing up near Napa Valley, California, Britt quickly learned that he has a knack for pairing food and wine together.

After exploring the world, Britt decided to bring this love to the East Texas community, and Britt’s Wine and Dine was born.

While he originally served his food and wine pairings out of his house, Britt has expanded and guests can now enjoy this unique wine tasting experience at his property, the Old Elder School in Kilgore, Texas.

Since he just recently planted his vineyard, Britt produces his wine from grapes and juice that he purchases.

In addition to producing his own wine, Britt also purchased unique wines from around the world that you can purchase at his winery.

Green Goat Winery & Vineyard

The Green Goat Winery & Vineyard is a unique vineyard in the small town of Chandler, Texas.

Upon entering the vineyard, guest drive past their eight acres of vineyards before reaching the winery tasting room, which has a rustic, country vibe.

Their tasting room here offers a variety of wines from dry to sweet wines, meaning everyone is sure to find something they love.

The Green Goat Winery and Vineyard offers wine drinkers everything from a Blanc du Bois to a delicious good Texas sweet wine called the Peachy Gringo, which is one of their fruit wines. (While I really love a good peach wine, I actually preferred their not as sweet wines.)

Marty enjoyed the fruit wines offered at Green Goat, like their Blueberry sweet wine.

After finding the perfect wine for you, grab a class or a bottle from the wine bar, and head outside to their patio area to enjoy a glass of wine while overlooking the winery and vineyards.

Also known for hosting live music, you might want to check their schedule before visiting.

If they aren’t too busy, ask to take a tour of their wine production area and see how they produce their wines.

White Fox Vineyards

White Fox is an East Texas Winery

another great East Texas winery to explore is White Fox Vineyards and Winery in Murchison, Texas.

White Fox Vineyards is a quaint winery that has a small area for wine tastings, and a large barn-style outdoor seating area.

Her you can taste some of the wine produced from local fruits and grapes. Marty especially loved their Blueberry wine, which is created from locally sources blueberries, while I enjoyed their Texas white whine made exclusively from Texas white grapes.

I loved that this winery also had a cute little gift shop with lots of fun merchandise to choose from.

During your visit to White Fox Vineyard and Winery, be sure to grab a glass of your favorite wine and head out to the barn to enjoy some fun yard games!

This charming family owned vineyard produces some delicious wines and outstanding mead!

Located in Garden Valley, Texas, Valle della Pace Winery offers guests the opportunity to enjoy their wine in either the tasting room, or their outdoor patio area overlooking the vineyards.

While you’re here, take advantage of one of the latest trends and play on some pickleball on one of their two lighted pickleball courts.

No matter what you choose to do, you will have a great time at this winery.

Los Pinos Ranch Vineyards

While we didn’t visit Los Pinos Ranch during our wine tour with Lekker Wine Tours, we are very familiar with their brand as we often visit them in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Their East Texas winery, located in Pittsburg, Texas, is a fabulous winery to add to your list.

Los Pinos Ranch offers guests a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy their delicious wines.

The vineyard shows two varietals of grapes, Blanc Du Bois and Black Spanish, both of which are used in creating their delicious wines.

They offer wines from dry reds to sweet dessert wines, ensuring that there is something for everyone at this winery.

Spend time in The Vine Tasting Room and Gift Shop before heading outside to drink wine on the Vineyard Patio.

I personally love their wine labels. The fun artwork is a nod to the laid-back, fun atmosphere that you will experience as this winery.

With live music offerings weekly, Los Pinos Ranch is a great place to have a fun evening out with that special someone in your life.
