Reasons To Visit Addison Oktoberfest
Authentic Oktoberfest Celebration

Addison Circle Park, located at 4970 Addison Circle, comes alive every year in September when the town of Addison welcomes thousands of visitors to its annual Oktoberfest celebration.
Addison’s Oktoberfest is one of the most authentic Oktoberfest celebrations this side of Munich!
The games, multiple stages, draught haus biergarten, and fiery polka bands ensure that everyone parties into the night at this original Oktoberfest celebration.
With single day admission tickets as low as $10 a person, this fun event is sure to please everyone.
Addison Oktoberfest opens for the 2023 season on Thursday, September, 14, and continues to party through the weekend with the final day of the event being on Sunday, September 17.
We always purchase one of the hotel packages that includes our hotel stay, 2 commemorative steins, 2 commemorative lapel pins, and 2 Paulaner biers. This is truly a great deal if you are planning to visit Addison Oktoberfest!
So, grab your dirndl dress or lederhosen, and make plans to visit this Texas sized Oktoberfest!
Special Games

The fun kicks off when the gates open on Thursday with live music and the Official Keg Tapping.
On Friday night the party is in full swing with great food, music, and of course, lots of beer.
Throughout the weekend, you can enjoy loads of live music and fun German games.
Crowd favorites include the bier barrel rolling, the bier maiden stein carrying, biergarten bingo, and, of course, the Dachshund dash (the dachshund races).
The Paulaner Biergarten is the place to be in Addison Circle Park to enjoy all of these great games!
Of course, bier lovers will agree that they are best enjoyed while sipping a cold Paulaner bier!
Bands and Other Traditional Entertainers

It wouldn’t be Oktoberfest without some authentic German music, and Addison Oktoberfest always delivers.
The open air tent of Partyhalle is one of my favorite areas to enjoy partying the night away with a good Paulaner bier.
When the polka bands and other traditional entertainers strike up the music, the Addison crowd comes alive enjoying the chicken dance and the polka!
You can check out the complete band schedule on the Addison Oktoberfest website.
Shopping for Specialty Gifts

If you are in the market for some great specialty gifts, but can’t travel all the way to Munich, then you can get your fix right here in Addison, Texas.
Every year, Addison Oktoberfest hosts loads of specialty vendors selling all sorts of fun items.
You can shop for authentic German steins, hats, lapel pins, and so much more.
Of course, there are loads of fun Texas souvenirs as well.
Authentic Food

One of my favorite things about visiting Addison Oktoberfest is all of the delicious German food served here.
Various vendors served everything from German Bratwurst to delicious schnitzels.
We always start with a huge Bavarian pretzel before moving on to some delicious bratwurst with German skillet potatoes.
For dessert, you can’t go wrong with a traditional apple strudel!
Of course, there are other food choices as well. If German cuisine isn’t your thing, you can enjoy pizza, gyros, corn dogs, or funnel cakes!
No matter what you choose to eat, you are sure to have a great time at Addison Oktoberfest!
